Toothrina von twinkle
I was recently commissioned to animate two scenes for a children’s book adaptation in a play, Toothrina von Twinkle! Created by Bradford Deyon and artwork by Torrey Daniels, the book tells the tale of a young fairy and her coming-of-age journey.
The scenes would be prominent parts of the main character’s journey: her traveling to the city for the first time, and a beautiful transformation sequence. In which I needed to craft various shots
Off to an adventure!
This is the scene where she gets her first mission! But she has to adventure out of the safety of the Fairy Castle and her home into the bustling city!

Magical girl transformation
I As she went through her character journey, she was bestowed the power and fortitude of a tooth fairy! With her character and kindness taken into heart, she undergoes a magical girl transformation into the fairy she is meant to be!
For this, I used references from Sailor Moon, Steven Universe, and Winx Club.
